52 Telecaster Thin Skin

FS 52′ AVRI FENDER TELECASTER THIN SKIN $1400

Payment must be PP Gift. I bought this guitar about 8 months ago, but need a new drum set for the studio. It is one of the original thin skins that wildwood made, I confirmed this by calling and emailing them as there was no serial stamped on the bridge plate. The neck plate is stamped. I have none of the case candy, it was all lost in the move to the new house, but the neck plate has a serial number on it. Small chip on the body where your are would go, there is some checking since this is a thin skin but I can’t see it. My guess is the humidity closed it up somewhat but there is some nice checking going on I could see in the winter. There is a also a small dent way up around the 20th fret on the low e side of the finger board, never got in the way. Lastly there is a small chip on the back of the neck, however since I had my luthier do a light scotch brite to the back of the neck to take just a thin layer of nitro off, you can barely see it. Now the good stuff. I have replace the pick ups with a set of 59′ Sound PUPs from Luther Lee. These are wound to the same specs of Brians PUPs on The 59 Sound by Gaslight Anthem, I can assure you this becuase Luther Lee makes his pick ups for him. I also saw brian the other day at the shop at he said he still is using them. $175 upgrade and I have luther lee actually put them in and set them up. The guitar has been set up 1/2 step down since I have had it so it will need a set up if you play in a different tuning. NO trades unless you have a sweet LP or a DW collectors edition drum set. Guitar came from someone semi famous which is cool, I can provide those details to buyer. Comes with original re issue case with some wear. I would rate the case 8/10
